The Daughters of the Republic of Texas sponsor the Texas History Forum:

  • to provide an informal setting for amateur and professional historians to share information on current research in Texas history, particularly the Republic period, San Antonio, and the Alamo.
  • to furnish continuing educational opportunities for professional educators.
  • to recognize outstanding research in Texas History.
All arrangements are made through the DRT Historian General, the DRT Library Committee, and Library Staff.

Proceeds in excess of expenses from the 21st forum benefit the June Franklin Naylor Fund, which supports the annual award for the best book for children on Texas history.
